Has anyone ever applied to be a Master?
It's always something I thought about, since I have been playing this game longer than I'd like to admit to. It's a prestigious position, the perks are good and maybe there are some bonus things they don't let everyone know about.
And now I've decided to give it a shot. I just sent an e-mail out asking to be a Master. It was a pretty sweet ass-kissing e-mail. I figure I have a decent personality so I'd be good for the position

Yes, he does mean GM as in Games Master.

Sounds cool, but I do think you need to either live or be able to commute to California. x.x I wanted to apply for the job as well, but no luck. LOL >_<

From what I read in qualifications its knowledge of game that is required, not living anywhere???
But anyway,
I wish you much luck and i believe gm will change every month or 3 months so keep applying, I dont know nearly enough about game yet for that
It would be awesome to have a Demon Driver be a gm!!!!!

I wanted very much to be a GM when they posted that they were hiring GMs, but read it through once more and saw that you needed to live close to where ever they have their office. Seems silly to me, I mean you are after all online most of the time you work. I don't know they might have changed that.

Games Master? 
Maybe I'm just a confused child, but I don't think that's what I sent an e-mail out for. I thought the Masters were just cool folk who helped out the new people and didn't act weird.
I have a friend who was one about three years ago and he lived on the east coast, so I've never known about this geography requirement.
They don't mention anything about it on the site.
I just want to be one of those dudes with the question mark over his head!

the guy with question mark, no worries i'm pretty sure for that you dont need to live there
there was another position actually working and getting paid by them you had to live in area, forgot what it was but thats prob where sid read that, dont know, just my guess lol
I read a lot is on so forums area about being gm,

The "SO Master of the Month" thing revealed to me that it's a lot of hard work and it takes time away from leveling endeavours.
I hope I'm not getting in over my head here guys
